CHS journalism students have started the work of collecting information around campus to publish articles about  school events. Beginning this month, journalism students as well as yearbook staff will begin publishing news stories to the school website, but they’re just getting started.

Some stories that will be published are personality profiles by the journalism 1 students. Journalism 1 students will also publish their own news stories. A number of students signed up to participate in journalism activities on club day also.

Of journalism activities on campus, teacher Jamie Bratton said, “I have seen an increase [of students wanting to do journalism]. We now have two classes instead of one… as well as [a number] of people participating in the news site who aren’t enrolled in a journalism class. We also have 9-10 students doing freelance photography.” Soon, there will be stories uploaded to the school website, thanks to the students of Conway High School.
