Congratulations to the Wampus Cat boys cross country team who won the 6A Central Conference Championship on Monday in Bryant! Conway had 3 boys place in the top 5, and 6 total in the top 10. Cade Swindle and Brady Pascoe continued to dominate the competition by both placing in the top 4. The boys ended with a score of 24 points and an average time of 16 minutes and 44 seconds.

Also, congratulations to the Wampus Cat girls cross country team who placed 3rd in the 6A Central Conference meet, falling short to only Bryant and Cabot. The team had two girls place in the top 5, and 6 total in the top 30. Kate Freyaldenhoven and Sara Holman both placed in the top 4, improving on their already impressive seasons. The girls ended with a score of 73 points and an average time of 21 minutes and 50 seconds.

Both teams will continue to prepare for the Arkansas State Cross Country Championship meet in Hot Springs on November 2nd.
