Wampus Cat Staff Celebrates National Yearbook Week
The Conway High Wampus Cat Yearbook Staff celebrated National Yearbook Week October 1-5 with daily drawings and continuing book work.
Each day the staff drew from the books ordered to award a purchaser with free personalization. Winners were Alexandria Cargile, Hayden Lybarger, Hanna Moyster, Mikayla O’Brien, Amy Tran, and Charles Windle.
The staff even paused their senior ad work to eat cookies and enjoy the accomplishment of reaching their ad sale goals and first quarter sales goals. Yearbooks continue to be on sale for $50 until the end of the semester.
President Ronald Reagan declared the first week in October to be National Yearbook Week in 1987 to draw attention to student journalists and their endeavors.
