I don’t understand why people say that dancing isn’t a sport. In my opinion I love dancing and it’s my passion. A sport is defined as activity that involves physical mental effort, skill, competitiveness, and it’s for entertainment. That’s basically the same thing you do in dancing. The definition of dancing is an activity of moving rhythmically to entertain yourself or others.

It also can improve weight, make your bones stronger, it makes you better at coordination, make you move quickly and easy, make you flexible, improves balance,  and spatial awareness. It also can increase things like your physical confidence, mental functioning, your general and psychological well being. The most important things dancing can benefit is it can raise your self-confidence and self-esteem, make your social skills better, and it reduces your chances of getting osteoporosis.

Dancing isn’t just only a sport, though it is way more things people use dancing for. It’s a performing art, because it has order of human movement. It can also be an exercise, because if you do a 30-minute dance class you will burn about  130 to 250 calories. That’s about the same calories you’ll get for jogging, but more fun and interesting.

Dancing is actually very important. When you dance you can put all your emotions you have and put it into your dance. That will make your dance routine be marvelous.
