Grace McMurry is a good friend to many but most don’t know about her role in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) as the Parliamentarian. She manages and heads most of the fundraising events that are held by FCCLA. McMurry said “It shows me how to handle a crowd, y’know like customers and everyday people better.”

An amazing thing about McMurry is that she is taking multiple advanced while also managing time with her friends with FCCLA on top of all that! McMurry said “The meetings of FCCLA are broken up in a way that allows me to manage things better”  One of her favorite things to do in FCCLA was serving at the Bethlehem House for the homeless. “We helped a lot of people in need and I think we made a big difference in their lives.”

McMurry is a great worker and is devoted to what she does in FCCLA and it’s fascinating that she and the others in FCCLA can balance everything they have on top of this.

McMurry’s determination in school is something that will make her future brighter and allow her to succeed in life.
