A regular school day for Jason (Jase) Curnett might look a bit different than it does for most people. After he gets home from a tiring day of going from class to class he retreats to his room where his multiple guitars are waiting for him.

Curnett has been playing the guitar since he was in sixth grade. After that he just kept adding more instruments to the list. At the moment he plays seven different ones, but he would like to add even more. He plays guitar, saxophone, ukulele, bass guitar, mandolin and the drums. He is, however, the most passionate about playing guitar and everything that has to do with it.

About three years ago he started writing his own music and he soon realized that that was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. “My ultimate dream is to play in a band that becomes famous” Curnett says, “later I want to retire and become a music teacher.” When asked how he would describe his music style he refers to his heroes: Fall Out Boy and Green Day. He adds that since he started writing his own music he has been listening to their, and basically all, music differently. “I just appreciate all the work that goes into it more.” says Curnett.

He hasn’t produced any music yet, but he is working on it. Hopefully we will hear some of his songs soon!
