Mario Kart Tour was released September 25 for the first time on mobile phones.

Multiplayer for racing friends in a “future update” according to the app. Upon the release, the app shut down due to the numerous amount of players all at once, now the app runs smoothly with little to no errors.  Jeff Grubb from Venture Beats says it’s reached almost 10.1 million downloads.

Junior Cole Copeland says, “I enjoyed Mario Kart as a kid,” which is a reason for many people playing. Lots of people at Conway High School mentioned that it was cool that it isn’t only on a Nintendo™ device.
