The Band’s Holiday Spectacular Concert

| The CHS bands had their holiday concert debuts on Monday, December 13 in the Conway High School auditorium. The sophomore band opened the concert with, “Christmas Fanfares”, “Grown-Up Christmas List”, and “Fantasy on Deck the Halls.” Next, the concert band dazzled the audience with their selection of songs titled, “Joyful Tidings,” “Adventum,” “Have a Klezmer Christmas,” and “Brazilian Bell Carol.” Then, the symphonic band’s percussion section had a unique feature. They performed , “Carol of the Bells.” Finally, the concert came to a grand close with the symphonic band’s performance of, “Angles of Joy,” “A Home Alone Christmas,” and “Sleigh Ride.” The CHS bands have made a successful transition from marching season to concert season. By participating in many rehearsals, the band has worked hard towards performing the first concert of the season since before the Coronavirus pandemic. |
