CPSD Returns to Masks
January 25, 2022
Beginning January 18 students of Conway Public Schools will be required to wear masks for ten days. This mask mandate will be required not only within the school, but in all extracurricular activities as well. The Conway School Board made the decision at their January 11 meeting. The Board says that on January 30 they will once again review the status of the district in order to re-evaluate the decision of mandating masks. The rest of the Covid-19 procedures mandated by the district on January 10 will remain the same. This includes returning back to school on the sixth day of quarantine as long as all symptoms have subsided and the student wears a mask until the tenth day of their quarantine.

The mask mandate coming back is great, I just wish more people would actually wear their masks correctly.

The mask mandate coming back is great, I just wish they would’ve put it up earlier and for a bit longer. We have a lot of covid cases even though we have a mask mandate, that’s because the students don’t want to wear their masks. We need to be safe and the mask mandate will help that.

I think that the mandate coming back is a great thing for this county. We need to be as safe as possible and taking all of the precautions to be safe is really what we need right now.
