The Conway Junior High School basketball teams took on Cabot South and beat them in all three matchups. 8th grade girls, 9th grade girls, and 9th grade boys made the trip out to Cabot on Monday to take on Cabot South.

In the three games, Conway was victorious over the home team and improved their record and also gained more confidence going forward in the season. The 8th grade girls routed their opponent with a 42-11 victory. The ninth grade boys and girls however, were involved in very close games which were both decided by a margin of less than ten as the boys won 47-42, and the girls won 29-25. When asked about the game, 9th grade sharpshooter Riley Sellers said, “We fought really hard even though we weren’t shooting the best and that’s why we were still able to win the game.”

The teams hope to carry this momentum into their tournament.
