One of Conway baseball’s 9/10 teams played two games against the Greenbrier baseball team on Monday, March 28 at Greenbrier High School. Conway ended up winning both of their games. The first game was a hard fought battle, with a final score of 3-2. They easily won the second game with a final score of 5-0.

Conway baseball will play Greenbrier again later this season. sophomore first baseman Will Thompson said,¨This was the first time playing Greenbrier this year and we knew it would be a challenge. We played a double header and won both games. We played well, our defense was almost perfect and offense is starting to heat up. We play them again next week at home and we know what to expect and hopefully win again.¨ Additionally, sophomore catcher Braden Bramlett said,¨The game went well both offensively and defensively. We had a few timely hits that allowed us to take the lead early and our pitching was also pretty solid.¨

Both teams are looking forward to winning more games for the Wampus Cats this season
