Gavin Law is not only in the Conway High School Wrestling; he is also in the Conway High School band. Law plays the marimba in the front ensemble. According to one of his peers in the front ensemble, Owen Starnes, “Gavin is a great asset to the band.” Law has been in band for 5 years, meaning he started in the 6th grade. He sees himself doing band in college but not as a full time career. One of Law’s favorite things is to play in the front ensemble at the halftime show. Nate Lonix, someone who is also in the front ensemble, says, “He is a pure goat in band.” Law says that his mom played in the band, and he played piano when he was younger. Kendall Watson says, “He is an amazing asset to the band.” A student that plays in the front ensemble with Law, Emmee Roe, says, “Gavin Law is a great influence on the band.” Law would like to say “Percussion is the best” and “Front ensemble roll out.”
