The Conway Wampus Cats High School Girls Basketball team traveled to Washington D.C, where they then played the #2 team in the nation, Sidwell Friends DC. The game started at 4 pm Central Time Zone and was played on Sidwells court. Amyia Taylor, a player for the Wampus Cats said “I enjoyed traveling, and I enjoyed the opportunity and bonding with my team, it was a really cool experience and I was happy to be there. It was cool playing on such a high intensity Level.” Conway failed in a hard loss against Sidwell with a score of 56-66.
