This is the week of March 6 through March 10, 2023. All of the Conway High Students are ecstatic about the arrival of Spring Break. School gets out on Friday, March 17. The anticipation is scratching away at all the students because we are in the final stretch of school. Quarter 3 grades are due this week, so not only are students excited about Spring Break; but also the final nine weeks of school until summer. Which technically won’t even be a full nine weeks if you count semester tests, finals, and AP exams. Or if you are a senior and get to leave even earlier than that.

It’s exciting to see how everyone spends their spring break and excited to have mine as well. I know a lot of people want to go and do and travel and hang out with people over breaks while some just want to lay in bed and watch TV all day. I see pros to both and will be doing both. This spring break has felt like a long time coming and at the same time arrived very abruptly according to some students.

Conway has a lot going on right now in this beautiful spring semester, with the lady cats winning a state championship and everyone getting a three-day weekend just for going to cheer them on, and prom coming up right after we return from spring break, along with preparation for final tests and grades and seniors graduation, there is a lot to look forward to.
