Conway High School Medical Professions students held their annual Blood Drive in the Med Pro building September 27.
Donors were required to be at least 16 years old and weigh 110-125 pounds depending on age. Students donors signed up for time slots based on their schedules.
Medical Professions teacher Mrs. Tillery-Harris stressed the importance of donating blood. “Students provide a true gift to the community that cannot be artificially manufactured,” she said.
There will be another opportunity to donate on campus in the spring. Students who have donated six times before April of their senior year receive a special cord for graduation.
