The Conway Lady Cats Basketball team is hosting an Alumni Night in the Buzz Bolding Arena on January 28. It will be at 6 P.M. and will consist of honoring and celebrating the Lady Cat basketball family. The basketball team will play on the evening of the 28th, and the alumni will be recognized at halftime. Senior Lady Cat, Emerie Bohanon, said that this time is “when we celebrate and honor our past Lady Cats.”
There will be many former coaches, players, and team managers coming back for this Alumni Night. Bohanon said that she is most excited to see Myia Yelder and Asiyha Smith because those are the people she grew up watching and looked up to when she was younger.
The Lady Cats will be playing a heated game. Bohanon said “We’re playing Jonesboro and my prediction of the game is that we’re going to win.” As of January 13, the Lady Cats are ranked number one in the state and hope to stay there. The team asks if everyone would help to spread the word by sharing and tagging others in the Lady Wampus Cat Basketball’s Instagram Post. It will be a great night of basketball and honoring former Wampus Cats.
