Congratulations to the Lady Cat Volleyball team who defeated Har-Ber to advance to the 6A state championship on Saturday! The girls traveled to Bentonville Tuesday afternoon, and began play Wednesday as they took on Cabot. Conway and Cabot faced off twice in the regular season, both matchups were won by Conway in 3 sets. This game ended with the same result of Conway winning in 3 sets.

The Lady Cats advanced to the semi-finals with the win over Cabot. They were matched up with Springdale Har-Ber, who the Cats lost to in last years 6A state semi-finals. The two teams matched up Thursday afternoon for the much anticipated game. The Lady Cats easily took care of Har-Ber in 3 sets, getting payback for last years loss.

Conway is set to play the powerful Fort Smith Southside Mavericks, who won the 6A central conference championship. The Lady Cats lost to Southside the two times the teams played this season. The most recent matchup went to 5 sets, with Conway losing a heartbreaker 15-12 in the 5th set.

The championship game will be held Saturday, October 27 at Bank of the Ozarks Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas at 11 AM. Good Luck to the Lady Cat Volleyball team!
