One of the most satisfying feelings for me is finishing a book. But also, it is one of the saddest. There are some days I have a whole list of books I want to read, but others I am clueless. So if you are stuck on what to read, here are some amazing books that I highly recommend.

John Green has written some of my favorites. His most popular, The Fault in Our Stars, is definitely popular for a reason. It is a story of love and tragedy, so If you still haven’t read it, it is about time to start. Another one of my favorites by him is Looking for Alaska, which is once again a story of love and tragedy. If you cannot stand depressing endings, then maybe John Green isn’t the Author you want to read. But if they don’t bother you, then get ready to fall in love with his books.

A book I have read not too long ago is, We Were Liars, by E. Lockhart. This is a book of mystery and drama. The overall plot is based on a girl who spends her summers with her wealthy family on their own private island. While reading this mystery book, you may be confused for a while. But once the end is reached, everything makes sense while also making for a gigantic plot twist that will leave you stunned.

Most recently, I finished a popular book from this past year called The Hate You Give, by Angie Thomas. This book was just recently made into a movie which became very well known all over. But of course the movie came after the book. If you haven’t seen the movie, or even if you have, reading this book gives a deeper understanding of what most teens go through that some can’t relate to. This book really opened my eyes and maybe it will be able to open yours too.

These were just a few of my favorites, and will hopefully be some of yours too!
