The students and teachers at Conway High School celebrated Halloween by dressing up as their favorite characters and creatures. Many of the students had makeup on, such as cobwebs around their eyes or skeletal faces, while others dressed up as characters with wigs and makeup. The main reason behind dressing up on October 31st was to show off their creativity and celebrate the spirit of Halloween.

“It’s the one excuse I have to be a freak in public,” Kat Ludwick, dressed up as a dead western cowboy, said. Ludwick explained that she chose her character because she likes “haunted zombie puppets” and “western cowboys.”

Other students such as Lux Wells and Skye Elzey dressed up like Deku and Spiderman, explaining that they wanted to express themselves through the Spirit of Halloween.

“I like to be weird, and I like to dress up,” Elzey stated. “Halloween is a day where I can be myself.”
