HOSA and FBLA Host Spring Blood Drive

HOSA and FBLA hosted Conway High School’s annual blood drive on Friday, March 6, 2020. The drive was held from 10am to 2pm. They had nurses from the Arkansas Blood Institute working with the 120 students who signed up to volunteer for the blood drive.
“It’s been really good. We’ve had a lot of people come through.” Matt Kulbeth, a senior EMT student said. “This is good stuff to know. If I can help, I want to.”

This article was good. It explained how giving blood can help. This article is can also be used to encourage people who have thought about giving blood but were to scared.

I believe that this event was really encouraging for young students to understand the importance of donating blood. This article was a good choice to write about, because it helps spread awareness on this cause.
