Taylor Swift won album of the year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards making her the fourth person and first woman to ever win the award 3 times. She first won the award with “Fearless,” in 2010, and then again with “1989,” in 2016 and finally with “Folklore,” now. In her speech she thanks multiple people including her fans saying “You guys met us in this imaginary world that we created and we can’t tell you how honored we are forever by this.” Folklore was a surprise album made by Swift and a few colleagues during quarantine and was her first attempt to write in this new style. Gone are the days of Swift being a hopeless romantic singing about her lovelife to showing her true ability in songwriting. During the Grammys Swift performed a mashup of songs “Cardigan,” “August,” and “Willow,” with the first two coming from “Folklore” and “Willow” coming from “Folklore’s,” sister album “Evermore.” This album was not eligible for this year’s Grammy Awards but will be for the next. Currently fans of Taylor Swift are waiting for her album “Fearless,” to be released again now however under Swift’s own name and sung in “Taylors version.” This is a big step for her being that she will be able to finally own one of her most popular albums after an instadent with Scooter Braun in the past
