Cross Country Teams Start Strong

The Conway High School cross country teams have started off strong beginning with top finishes in Little Rock, Heber Springs and Searcy.  

Both teams did well at the Little Rock Classic September 11 with girls winning first overall and boys winning 3rd.  At the Heber Springs Meet September 14, the Sophomores Meg Swindle placed first overall, and Conway boys won 2nd. Then, at the HArding Bison Invitational the girls had 3 top 10 finished and Sophomore Max Henry finished 4th overall. 

 “I’ve enjoyed getting to know my teammates and getting to go out and give my best effort at races this year,” Henry said.   Their next meet is Saturday in Russellville.
