Students voted on CHS student council officers on August 26 through their 2nd period classes.  Senior Laney Kellybrew was elected president.  The remainder of the officers are Vice President: Kaylen Coleman, Secretary: Tanaya Deshpande, Senior Rep: Anna Kate Simpson, Junior Rep: Will Sellers and Sophomore Rep: Brooklyn Ferguson.

The group immediately began meeting to coordinate Homecoming, which is September 24.

“My plan for this year is to get the juniors together and try to bounce back from last year and the exhaustion and that is fruitful for everyone.” Kaylen Collmen, the vice president for the school this year said “I plan on including a lot of students’ ideas and including another dance or having more pep rallies. If there was a way I could bring one student’s ideas though the principles that would be cool too.”
