Lady Cats Beat Bryant

| On January 28, the Conway High School girls basketball team played Bryant at home. The game started off a little rocky with Bryant leading. The Conway girls were able to make a return quickly and correct their errors and led the rest of the game. They closed the game beating Bryant 72-42. They are on a 9 game winning streak. This win kept them at #1 in the 6A division. Also, they are #1 in Arkansas for highschool girls basketball, according to Max Preps. There were three top scorers of the game. Number 13 Chloe Clardy led the team with 22 points during the game. Number 3 Emerie Bohanon helped with 16 points in the game. And number 42 Savannah Scott had 12 points. Coach Hutchcraft, head coach, said “I was really pleased with our team’s effort in the second and third quarter. We also had a lot of help from our bench which helps us down the stretch.” |
