ACT Testing for Juniors Approaches

| The ACT for Conway High School juniors is on Wednesday, March 29. Participation forms were mailed to each junior’s house and will be used to verify your participation in the ACT will be due to English teachers by March 17. The ACT will be held at Conway High School during the school day, and students will be allowed to leave school when it is over. The test itself will be held in individual classrooms over the approximately five hour duration. The ACT is a standardized test which colleges usually use to determine a student’s admission to the school. It is also an important factor in determining scholarships such as the Arkansas Lottery Scholarship and Arkansas Governor’s Scholarship. Clara Spivey, a Conway High School junior said, “I feel like it is a good experience in learning how to take a formal, standardized test.” |
