Select students from the Conway High School Cameratas choir will be singing along with actors in this year’s school musical “The Addams Family” as the backstage choir on April 21, 22, and 23. To assist the actors with the songs while they do choreography on stage.

Choir director Sam Huskey has hand-picked 12 students to participate in this wonderful experience. Some are pictured above, and are as follows from left to right: Gabriella Stanford, Kaylee Francis, Ethan Perry, Ash Murray, Annaleese Westover, Tristan Perciful, and Dagan Terry. Not pictured are Ava Weeks, Darius Harrison, Griffin Dunlap, Bryton Butler, and Kailey Sullivan. These students have been learning a series of songs to perform during the shows which consist of difficult rhythms, and tempos, a tempo is how fast they have to sing the songs.

CHS senior, and camerata choir tenor 2 section leader Ethan Perry stated, “It is a bit of a challenge learning the music with the difficult tempo, and weird pitches, but the amazing teaching and direction from Mr. Huskey makes the work easier!” These students are working hard to put together a show for the community, come out and support them at one of the showings April 21, 22, or 23!
