August 30 the Conway Cross Country teams attended their first meet of the season at the Mustang Invitational in Perryville.   Both senior high teams came in first place.   

Senior girls finished with 25 team points, Meg Swindle placed 4th individually with a time of 11:08, and three additional Conway runners finished in the top 10.  Senior boys finished with with 26 team points. Max Henry Finished 2nd with a time of 8:50, and four other Conway runners finished in the top 10.

Coach Lisa Worlow said, “The team had a strong showing at our first meet at Perryville. The Cats took 3 victories yesterday and claimed a runner-up in the other race. We are proud of the runners and how they performed in the heat. The team is off to a great start for the season and we are excited for the rest of the season.”

The teams’ next meet is September 10 in Little Rock.
