Five Wampus Cat football players have been named to the 2022 All State team.  Tuesday AAA named Offensive Tackle Arron Smith, Cornerback Quadrell Wilson, Quarterback Donovyn Omolo, Running Back Boogie Carr and Kicker Adrian Mejia to be among the state’s best athletes this year.  

“Being named All-State is an amazing honor which I’m really proud of because I worked hard for it. It wouldn’t be possible without the help of my teammates, coaches, and community so I’m very thankful for them as well,” said Carr. 

Other Wampus Cats named to the 7A First Team All Conference include Wade Simpson, Rome Fields, Jayllen Chambers, Ben Chandler, Preston Prock, Garrett Sanders, kelgin Thomas, DeMarkale McKency and Cris O’Neal.
