On Monday, January 30, Conway’s division of Future Business Leaders of America, District 5, met in the Reynolds Performance Hall at University of Central Arkansas. Along with other schools in Central Arkansas, Conway’s students participated in events such as Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Intro to Public Speaking, and Financial Literacy to see who would move on to state.

The top 5 performers in each event will participate in Fayetteville’s state competition in April. Each person, or group, had to give presentations and take tests to be selected to move on to state. Some members of Conway’s organization that will move on include Brady Robnett, Hayden Raycher, Will Childers, Layton Coney and several others.

Two brothers, Brady and Jackson Robnett, made state in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing division. Brady, a senior, said, “Winning events like these in State will give me an advantage over others on my resume when applying for jobs. It should give me a boost over the rest of the competition.” He knows that these business skills will be useful in future job opportunities.
