The forensics and debate team is going to be hosting the opening tournament, Conway Classy Classic, the 29th and 30th of September at Conway High School.
“The purpose of this tournament is to let students from around the state come and participate in something that they are passionate about. It allows them to meet new people, have new experiences, and learn friendly competition.,” Says forensics varsity student, Tanis Islas.
One of Conway’s major rivals, Cabot, is going to attend. While every participant is doing their forensics and debate pieces, the conway forensics and debate team will be running concessions and helping participants to their assigned classrooms. Once it all finishes, the Conway Classy Classic will conclude with an award show to show who did this best acting and debating.
