In the game against Little Rock South West on the 22nd of September, the Wampus Cats beat the Gryphons 56-0. During the beat-down, Noah Spiridigliozzi contributed to the win with a forced fumble, a tackle for loss, and 2 more tackles. Spiridigliozzi is a senior for Conway and has played football for as long as he can remember. Him and the Cats have been busy in the off-season and early season, working out twice a day on average. “It was nice to see that all the hard work paid off,” said Spiridigliozzi. The importance of their new head coach Buck James and how he’s helped them develop over his time being with them has caught Noah’s eye and wants to use it the the Wampus Cats advantage “I have high hopes for us this season because of all the hard work and hours that we’ve put in to be a good disciplined football team.” The Wampus Cats are undefeated with SouthWest as the first conference game of the year.
