Caring Cats held its annual Buddy Reveal in the arena Wednesday during WIN time. Each year groups adopt a Buddy to spend time with in activities such as holiday parties and field trips with the ultimate goal being inclusivity and building meaningful and lasting relationships on campus.
Caring Cats faculty adviser Hailey Haynes says the Buddy Reveal is one of her favorite activities because of how included everyone feels. “ It is a unique opportunity for students to come together and celebrate how our differences bring us together as one school family.All students involved are able to make friends outside of their normal arenas and are usually pleasantly surprised by how much they enjoy themselves,” she said.
Caring Cats and Best Buddies are beginning work on their Powderpuff Fundraiser which is October 16.
