Lady Cat Runners Finish Top 3 in Multiple Races

Landon Dunn, Sports Editor

This season in girls cross country has been nothing short of great overall for the 2019 Ladycats as they have had a top 3 finish in 3 events so far:  War Memorial Classic, Heber Springs, and the Wampus Cat Invitational Meets.

The team is led by Senior Sarah Holman who has showed up in many ways this season.  She has placed in the top 10 in every event except one,  making it a very successful year for her personally. Another Ladycat who has had a phenomenal season is Danielle Luyet who, like Holman,  has placed several times on the year.

This team has been successful despite a jam-packed season traveling everywhere from Bryant to Fayetteville.  The future looks bright as these runners look toward Conference and State Meets in Ft. Smith and Hot Springs.
