Baseball Season Begins with Win

The CHS baseball team started strong with a home benefit game against LR Christian Thursday February 25. Cats won 7-2 in a 7 inning game. The Cats had nearly double digit hits, and stolen bases, led offensively by the bats of seniors Cameron Leach, Anthony Snyder, and Sam Stroth. All 3 players had multiple extra base hits throughout the game. Anthony was 2-2 with a triple, while Cameron joined Anthony with a triple as well. The Cats look to stay on a roll this next week while playing an away stretch of 5 games.

I think this is a good short sports story. It lists the final score, opponent, and the star players of the game. All of the important information was included, and it was very easy to read.
