I recently finished the show “The Summer I Turned Pretty”, and author Jenny Han did a good job; some things could have been better. Jenny Han did really well with casting, the first season was a good start and had a good start, but towards the end, not so much.
The first season felt like a breath of fresh air, the cast did a really good job, and the acting was flawless. I have no complaints. It makes you want to keep watching because of the dynamics the main character, Belly, had with everyone, especially the Fisher brothers. It makes you want to see who she picks in the beginning, but not so much towards the end. Around the second season of the show is where things started to go south, and it didn’t hit like home anymore. Tragic things happened to one of the main characters, which made it hard to find the show enjoyable because of the magic they brought to it through them. The last season was honestly a complete mess because of how quickly Belly switches from brother to brother. It started getting hard to watch after a while.
The plot completely changed during the last season, and even I stopped watching it for a while and came back to it. Belly made things way too challenging for herself, and people even say the book version of Belly and the show version don’t match up at all. Something special about the show is that the first season came out during the summer, and it was something to take your mind off things and focus on the character dynamics, but last season was not released during the summer, and they actually would release episodes every Wednesday of each new week. First season, you could just blow through, and you didn’t have to wait for more, but last season, you did.
Overall, if you enjoy drama, this is honestly the show for you. Jenny Han, for the most part, did an okay job, and the movie should be released soon.

This has some reasonable takes, the topic is very appealing and has been displayed well. However, I would suggest diving deeper into which boy is factually better for Belly, and not just a summary of the show.

This poem highlights both strengths and weaknesses in the movie. your next project should be another movie review.

this was a good review of “the summer I turned pretty” because it explains the problems the show had towards the end very well. you write really good reviews.

I think you made a very engaging story, having to due with the fact that it’s a very known show, that is also an amusing and entertaining, it’s structured in a fashion that somewhat summarizes what goes on during the show, and keeps a open discussion on what appeals. I think you should make more of these opinion stories, because I think they’re very captivating and I hope to see more!
